In our last blog post, we discussed the best ways to pick a reputable locksmith. The top bullet point for picking a reputable locksmith was to call family and or friends for recommendations.

When thinking about using a company, product or service, you’re probably interested in getting the best service – and price – for your money. You might ask your friends or family members for recommendations but, you might also google the company, product or service. Online reviews and recommendations matter and seeing what other people think can be super helpful in weighing decisions — especially before you fork over your hard-earned money.

Let’s take a look at some tips for trusting online reviews.

  • Do a thorough internet search
  • Look for credible opinions from trusted sources. Ask yourself: Where is this review coming from? Is it from an expert organization or individual customers?
  • Compare online reviews from various sources. Check Google reviews, Facebook reviews Yelp reviews and etc. You can get a good idea about a company, product, or service from reading user reviews on various sites.
